20 years of Sygnity

Sygnity has been operating in the Polish market for 20 years already. Over that time, we have implemented a few thousand IT projects for customers from all sectors of the Polish economy – both for commercial ones and for public institutions. Each of them allowed us to develop our potential and competences, acquire experience and specialist knowledge.

At present, we employ a staff of over 1,700 people, and can boast one of the most numerous expert teams in the Polish IT market.

The dynamic changes in Sygnity result from both acquisitions of companies having products valuable from the viewpoint of transformations and from the natural development of the company structure.  In  1995, we entered the Warsaw Stock Exchange. At that time, we were the second IT company in the Polish market to choose such a development path. 2007 saw an extremely important consolidation of ComputerLand and Emax. It was just at that time that the company changed its name to Sygnity SA. The fusion resulted in establishing the second largest IT company in Poland. 2010-2011 saw the merger of several most important companies operating within the Sygnity Group: ARAM, PB Polsoft, Sygnity Technology and Winuel. The consolidated processes and resources introduced at that time increased the company’s operating efficiency and allowed it to improve its abilities to create novel solutions.

In March 2010,  Norbert Biedrzycki was appointed new President of Sygnity. He successfully led the company through a restructuring program, and defined a new strategy of its development. To make full use of its potential, Sygnity intends to undertake expansion in international markets. In September 2011 the company signed a strategic agreement with the global Huawei concern, thanks to which it is to launch, among other, the sale of its own solutions in 16 European countries.
