Town Hall in Nysa

Implementation of hardware, operating system, database and IITS, together with technical assistance

 

The project covered delivery and implementation of hardware, operating system, database and an Integrated IT System supporting the operation of the Nysa Town Hall departments, together with deployment, implementation and provision of technical assistance. 

Project term: 2007 – 2011.

 

The Town Hall in Nysa is an organizational unit which supports the Nysa Mayor in performance of the Nysa commune tasks. The commune area is inhabited by over 59,000 people, and the town of Nysa is the most densely populated Polish town located in the area of an urban and rural commune.

 

The project’s goal was the implementation of an integrated solution replacing a number of independent, not cooperating applications from various vendors, to enable greater control over the processes implemented at the Hall and help provide coherent and easily verifiable reporting.

 

The Urząd.NT Integrated IT System was implemented in all departments of the Town Hall, covering also areas of greatest importance for the Hall:

  • local taxes
  • municipal property management 
  • finances
  • permit records

 

Thanks to the System’s implementation, the Town Hall acquired full control over disbursements made in individual departments, with particular emphasis on the necessity to observe the limits following from the planned budget, both at the fund disbursement and their engagement stages.

 

The system is modified on an ongoing basis, adjusted to changes in legal regulations, and expanded to better support current Town Hall’s tasks.
