Banks in Poland are obliged to provide detailed financial statements to the National Bank of Poland, the Bank Guarantee Fund and the Ministry of Finance on a periodical basis.

Due to emerging changes in the bank and its environment, the obligatory reporting system must be developed on an on-going basis. This results from the amendments of the guidelines and regulations of the European Union (New Capital Accord, Capital Requirements Directive, CRD II, CRD III and CRD IV), changes to the national regulations (Banking law, Resolutions of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and Resolutions of the Management Board of the National Bank of Poland), changes to the product offer and change to the standards (International Accounting Standards, Polish Accounting Standards).

Despite changing requirements, in the field of the obligatory reporting the following risks are of equal importance:

  • risk of insufficient quality of data used to prepare statements and reports
  • risk of no verification of data relations between different reporting groups for verification
  • necessity to generate a large volume of reports by the bank

Our solutions are developed on the basis of the SPID reporting system, providing our customers with the following benefits:

  • meeting the statutory requirements in the scope of obligatory reporting of the banks
  • guarantee of adjustment to the statutory modifications
  • automation of the processes of preparing statements and reports based on analytical data deriving from different systems of the bank
  • guarantee of data correctness within the scope of validation rules laid down by the regulatory authorities
  • simplifying the reporting process services thanks to applying a single system
  • easy and fast access to the reporting data

The system functionality has an advantageous impact on the correctness and costs of delivery of the reporting process in the bank. The extensive user interface of our solution contributes to significant reduction of expenditures for administration and service of the solution by the IT Department.
