ELIXIR AND EURO ELIXIR APPLICATION (EELX)
Transactions handling in Elixir and Euro Elixir clearing systems
The Sygnity company in cooperation with National Clearing House of Poland (KIR) developed the new application that improves transactions clearings services at all banks that are participants of the Elixir and Euro Elixir systems.
The Elixir and Euro Elixir interbank clearing systems maintained by KIR are of key importance for the efficient banking sector operability in Poland, enabling clearing and settlement of millions of transactions every business day. Elixir system is designed to transfer orders and direct debits execution in PLN. Euro Elixir system, functioning within integrated infrastructure of Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) in EURO, is used for domestic and foreign transfers in EURO and to exchange and handle complaint inquiries.

Making available new application of Elixir and Euro Elixir system is the one of the largest technological challenges, KIR carried out since the implementation of first electronic version of Elixir system. Effective implementation of the solution was possible thanks to effective and professional cooperation between banks, KIR and Sygnity.
SYSTEM FEATURES
The updated user application was made in a completely new architecture (both logical and technological), ensuring an increase in application performance and enabling support for processing up to 2 million transactions per hour.
